How Do I Rate a Station That Isn’t Listed on RateMyStation?

If you can’t find the TV Station, Radio Station, Newspaper, Podcast, or Digital Newsroom you’re looking for on RateMyStation, don’t worry—you can easily submit a new Station before beginning the review process.

Our goal is to maintain the most comprehensive directory of media organizations possible. If the Station you’re looking for isn’t currently listed, you can help expand our database by submitting its information for review.

How to Add a New Station

If you can’t find the Station you’d like to review:

          1. On the right side of the Search All Stations Page, select the option to add a new Station.
          2. Enter the requested information about the Station.
          3. Submit the Station for review.

Once submitted, our moderation team will review the information before the Station is added to RateMyStation and becomes available for employee reviews. 

Why Isn’t My Station Already Listed?

RateMyStation is constantly growing.

New TV Stations, Radio Stations, Newspapers, Podcasts, and Digital Newsrooms are created, renamed, acquired, or rebranded over time.

Although our directory includes thousands of media organizations, new Stations are added regularly through community submissions and our ongoing moderation process.

How Long Does It Take for a New Station to Be Approved?

Every newly submitted Station is reviewed before being published.

This review process helps us:

          • Verify submitted information
          • Reduce duplicate Station listings
          • Improve directory accuracy
          • Maintain the quality of our platform

Approval times may vary depending on submission volume and the information provided.

What Information Should I Include?

To help us process your submission as quickly as possible, you will need to include accurate information such as:

          1. Your email
          2. Station name 
          3. Station category
          4. Location
          5. Station email address (if known)
          6. Station official website (optional)

Providing complete and accurate information helps our moderation team verify your submission more efficiently.
