We need better ratings, what can we do?? A new set, new graphics, maybe new news cars,reporters on radio stations (that also dont do well in the ratings), new ads on the subway. And did you see our new ticker, thanks to our GM and corporate finance. I know ratings will increase from that. Anyone have any ideas that won't cost money that I can tell my boss?? Anyone?? An Overall Toxic Work Environment

If there is a long-term strategy, it is not communicated to the staff. Futures planning is inconsistent. Staff is routinely told in the open that they may only contribute suggestions about stories that should be covered but not about any other area of the newsroom. All levels of staff report to the News Director, making some supervisors irrelevant.
