Goofy and unorganized.

Horrendous. This station hires tons of inexperienced people for a market wherein you should have at least five years of prior experience. The general manager killed morale by switching up anchors on the morning team and foolishly wasting money on a new Bengals set. The station has become less about news, and more about sports and lifestyle programming. All the executive producers are women, so if you're a man looking to get into one of these spots, don't bother. Environment is also unfriendly and uncooperative. People here will act like they're your friends, but are quick to stab you in the back and run to management for silly reasons.
I would trust what other people have said about it. This station is called "the farm" for a reason--because they hire people straight out of college and promote others based on favoritism. Favorites get by with everything here, and if you're not one of them, expect to be treated coldly.

Stations like these are why talented young professionals are leaving our business. There’s rampant favoritism — some anchors and reporters can routinely show up late, miss hits or slots with zero repercussions… but less-favored reporters or behind-the-scenes staff will be disciplined or berated for their first offense of that similar behavior. Promotions and otherwise positive reassignments are based on relationships, not merit. For instance on two occasions, a less-experienced, less-skilled producer who happened to be good friends with a manager and a certain top talent was promoted to Executive Producer over more experienced and qualified internal candidates. I’ve also had coworkers confide in me about being sexually harassed by a high-ranking employee, but was urged not to report it at the risk of losing that employee. Two other employees who had confirmed to have reported their own sexual harassment experiences were each demoted within a year of their report for “performance issues.” There’s frequent gaslighting and retaliation when problems are reported, constant lying and misleading from management, and an overall negative culture amongst the employees.

He told me to keep my head down and mouth shut and I’d get ahead in “the business” he also told me digital was not an important job because everything was “trending toward TV and away from digital.” If you aren’t an anchor he doesn’t care about you and frequently pits reporters against one another and participates in station gossip to control the narrative. He also allows his managers to run amuck and turned a blind eye to sexual harassment, bullying, and racism.

Management level employees regularly sexually harassed female employees while upper management turned a blind eye. Managers regularly participate in station gossip to control the narrative floating around the station. They also pit employees against one another. Managers frequently bully lower level employees and allow other employees to bully each other. If you try to go to HR, managers will pull you into their office, deny everything, and threaten your job safety.
If you speak up and try to enact change toward a more positive work environment (reporting bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination) upper management will silence you by telling you it’s their word against yours and no one will believe you.

Toxic. He bullies his employees then gaslights them.

Multiple members of management sexually harassed multiple employees. One manager was fired after senior management couldn't keep the situation contained any longer and another manager quit before they could be fired. Multiple managers still at the station openly sexually harass employees and management looks the other way. Senior management also promotes a toxic work environment. The AND, EP, and senior level producers frequently mock and gossip about lower level employees out loud in the newsroom and bully those employees openly. Complaints have been made about the situation but the general manager intimidates the employees into silence. The main anchor is allowed to bully her producers into slanting news to her political view due to her 'status' at the station. A long-time member of the digital producing staff is allowed to bully her coworkers and management bends to her will to avoid meltdowns in the newsroom. They also allow her to write slanted pieces that aid in the political careers of her friends. Department managers, senior level managers, and the general manager all participated in bullying, which was reported to HR numerous times. They also openly mocked mental health of their employees. There is no organization by management when it comes to the content for shows and managers have their hands 'too far in the cookie jar' and micromanage producers and reporters to the point where poor product is often displayed on air.

ND & AND play favorites. It’s a major issue. Good people have been let out of contracts early, while some of the laziest and disrespectful people stay
