If you are a man, come work her. If you are a female reporter STAY AWAY. He, along with the other managers, respect male opinions and work more than the work of women. He will lie to you, and will give you an inch so he can say he did something for you, but you will be stuck.
Sexual Discrimination, An Overall Toxic Work Environment
Men can ask for what they want in the newsroom and will be heard. Women are seen as argumentative and demanding.

I wouldn’t recommend working here. Management talks a big talk about how you’re appreciated and valued but doesn’t follow through when it really counts. I had multiple conversations with management about getting promoted and was misled into believing they would promote me when in reality I now believe they had someone else in mind the whole time. When I expressed my displeasure with not getting promoted and said I was leaving at the end of my contract, they “made my resignation effective immediately” and I was left unemployed. I was loyal to this station for multiple contracts, when I could have left for other opportunities, and they screwed me over in the end. I can never forgive them for this. If they did it to me, I have no doubt they will do it to others.
