Jake Peterson
Jake is fine. Those who are higher up and make most of the decisions don't care about those in the newsroom. The show is not shot in a studio. All content is sent to Myrtle Beach station to be shot there. Tech is always an issue, and the guy they have overseeing that is not much help if he decides to show up to work. Be prepared to teach yourself how to do almost everything.
News Director isn't even in Savannah. No opportunities for growth. When things go wrong, blame is often passed down to MMJ's.

Victoria Spechko
Victoria is one of the best news directors to work for. She will offer fair, yet tough feedback to make you stronger as a journalist. If you have the opportunity to work for her in Savannah or Conway, you will learn a ton.
As the digital producer, you will have several additional tasks including assignment desk editing, making and taking phone calls for the newsroom, and other duties outside of your job title.
