A certifiable egotist who cares more about ratings than people. He will do anything to satisfy the demands of corporate heads, often at the expense of journalistic ethical integrity.
An Overall Toxic Work Environment
This station has wonderful camaraderie between reporters, photogs, producers, the more "boots on the ground" positions. Unfortunately, much of the camaraderie comes from collective galvanization against upper management. The news director and his assistant are very unpopular due to their naïve decision-making, unwavering stubbornness, ultimate refusal to accept responsibility for their mistakes, and brazen disrespect for their employees.
There are a lot of good people at KUTV, but under Sinclair's ownership, it has deteriorated to a nearly irreparable extent.
