News Dirctors

Very supportive
2024. Management is very supportive and encouraging of staff and wants to help support what we want to do, either here or moving up/on in the future. I’ve learned more about journalism here than I did in 4 years of college. Has the mild dysfunction that any workplace has, but overall no complaints about work experience or management. Only complaints are equipment/tech related as I’m personally not a fan of automation, but that’s just the business. Would recommend working here.
Previous reviews about a crumbling building are no longer accurate, we’ve since moved into a newer and nicer building.

Do not trust her, she is a liar and is running the station into the ground.
An Overall Toxic Work Environment
News Director is not present. Consistently only creating new problems for the staff to work with. Overloading producers is not uncommon, she'll often force producers to work the shifts of two people without offering any sort of solutions to fix ongoing employment problems.
Management does not work to better the station.

Good station, but there is a lack of leadership in the newsroom. The staff is friendly. The building is falling apart.

Awesome news director, very involved in the newsroom and overall station product.
Best newsroom I've ever worked in. Most everyone is easy to work with and it has a very laid back atmosphere. Even with all the fun, I learned so much here. People go to work there and stay there for a long time.
